Collective Worship Programme

Collective Worship at St Ann's is central to our school fulfilling its vision for our children, families and staff. Gathering together each day creates a sense of community and we look at how our Christian values can be lived out in school, the home and society at large. Worship takes place each day and is inclusive, invitational and inspiring.

We focus on one of our Christian values each half term and look at examples of people from the Bible who have lived these out in their lives. We also look at more contemporary people who have also exhibited these values in their lives. (Courageous Advocates) We recognise that Jesus is the one who lived these out perfectly and that he is ultimately our example to follow. Picture News is also used to show how the world around us can challenge what we think and how we are to live.
