Welcome Welcome Welcome

Warrington St Ann's Church of England Primary School

At Warrington St. Ann’s we are extremely proud of our welcoming and caring environment and we strive to fulfil our school motto - to be a place where “Everyone Matters”.

This is an inclusive and happy school where children have positive attitudes towards their learning and they behave well. The Christian values of respect, perseverance, peace, hope, trust, honesty, forgiveness and reconciliation underpin all that we do. Our staff work hard to ensure that all of our children are valued, feel secure and are inspired to be the best that they can be and achieve the best academically and socially.  Our calm, caring learning environment is often commented on by those who visit our school.

We are in the centre of a community and benefit greatly from our good links with St. Ann’s Church.  We know our families very well and endeavour to nurture strong relationships with parents, carers, staff, governors, children and the wider community. Our well established school nursery offers places from the term after a child is 2 years old and parents tell us that their children are happy, thrive and make good progress here due to the very experienced and dedicated staff.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection recognised that, "Pupils are proud to be members of their school community." "In lessons, they listen respectfully to their teachers and to each other." "The school has high expectations of pupils' achievement, including that of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)" "They enjoy their learning and achieve well." Ofsted, July 2024

Thankyou for visiting our website, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and invite prospective families to contact us and arrange a tour of our friendly school.

"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

By providing an excellent broad and balanced education, through which Christian values permeate, we will give our community hope for their future, enabling them to flourish. We want children to become resilient individuals with the skills, knowledge and understanding to make wise choices - building a positive future for themselves and others, and understanding that everyone matters.

St. Ann’s - Where Everyone Matters.

The mission for our school community is that children, parents, governors, staff and local community have the absolute best chance for their future.

Our vision is that our children leave the school as compassionate citizens who respect the rights, beliefs and individuality of others.

Our intention is to provide the children in our care with an engaging, exciting and empowering curriculum that equips them for today and tomorrow and provides them with opportunities to achieve highly. It is carefully mapped in order that children gain a bank of knowledge, skills and understanding which will enable them to move on to the next stage in their learning with confidence. To ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of our community, three key drivers, which are also three of our school’s chosen Christian Values, permeate throughout:

Children leave Warrington St. Ann’s Church of England Primary School with a sense of belonging to a Christian community where they have the confidence and skills to make decisions, self-evaluate, make connections and become lifelong learners. Throughout their school journey we encourage children to grow as resilient individuals who aspire to search out and grasp all of life’s opportunities, making wise choices in order to build a positive future for themselves and others.
